Today's Treasure:
Blessed be God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.
Genesis 14: 20
According to Genesis 14: 17 - 24, who was Melchizedek?
He is king of Salem that brought out bread and wine as Abram and king of Sodom met in the Valley of Shaveh
He is described as priest of God Most High. He blessed Abram. Abram gave him a tenth of all he had
Why wouldn't Abram accept anything from the king of Sodom?
Abram promised God that he would never accept anything from the king of Sodom because he did not want the king to be able to say that he made Abram rich. He only accepted the share of food for his men that his men earned.

"Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth."
The following are just a few of many scriptures referring to God as the Most High. Record anything these verses imply about the holder of that title.
Daniel 4: 17
"The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men"
Psalm 21: 7
"For the king trusts in the LORD; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken"
How does Psalm 115: 3 express the sovereignty of God? How does it make you feel?
"Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him"
I am thankful that we are His creation and relationship with us pleases Him. Therefore, I am in intimate relationship with God Most High!!!
