Hi, everyone!!
Just wanted to catch you up on my visit today...
I started the new drug the doctor added to my "cocktail". They told me I would probably be very nauseated today, but I haven't been nauseated at all!!!
The pharmacist explained to Brian (while i was sleeping) that I would probably feel much like I had the flu for a couple of days with the first dose. I should not be alarmed if
I run a low grade fever and don't feel very well. So far, I still feel pretty good...we'll see. I am going into it with an attitude that I will be fine. So, let's see what happens.
Last week my wbc count was at 14,000. So Dr. Peppercorn told me I could take a week off from the neupogen shots since they make me ache all over. Well, today when I
went in, my wbc count was at 1500. So, I am sure I will not be allowed to take time off again for a while!!! Oh, well...it was good while it lasted!!!
My rbc count is continuing to drop, at a slow rate, but still dropping. It was at 11.33 last week. This week it is 11.0. I have definitely felt the results of that over the last week.
I don't know what point it will be before he does a blood transfusion. I will keep you updated!!!
ALL of my liver numbers are completely normal as of this week. Two have been normal for some time now, but the Alkaline Phosphate kept staying up kind of high. Last week it
was in the 140 range. Normal is anything below 128. Today, it had fallen down to 96. Isn't that fantastic!!!
All in all, it was yet another day to praise our God for His miracles!!!
Please remember to pray for Dr. Peppercorn and the rest of the staff at DUMC!!! They are all so amazing...
My specific prayer is that a seed is planted in any life that does not already know Jesus Christ as their Lord. I want them to see God's role in my healing!!!
Thank you all for your immense love and support!!!
I love you all so very much!!!
Tiffany Pate
