Update from Tiffany

Carol,

Tiffany called and asked me to share some good news and a prayer request, so will you forward this to everyone on your list?!

Yesterday her treatment went very well. Her blood levels were:

Alakaline Phosphatase: 132

AST (SGOT): 44

ALT (SGPT): 48

Bilirubin: .5

WBC: 5300

These are fabulous numbers and a very positive finding. Her physician came in and shared some news with her related to next week when they will do her first scan. (Wednesday, June 11, 5 p.m.). He was candid, telling her that she should remember that they are not expecting her to be cancer free, but that they are expecting positive improvement and good results. She realizes that this is standard protocol, but God has given her confidence in His ability to work miraculously.

I am requesting these specific prayers for her:

1. That her blood levels continue to improve and that her counts stay in the range that enables continued weekly chemotherapy. (Her M.D. mentioned the possibility of going to every other week for treatment, so pray for God's guidance as far as her scheduled treatment regimen is concerned). (Psalm 91)

2. That her scans reveal miraculous results next Wednesday-- results that defy conventional/human wisdom and understanding. (1 Corinthians 1:20)

3. That she and her family experience a PEACE-filled vacation that is full of wonderful reminders of God's faithfulness and provision. (Phil. 4:7)

4. That she doesn't become frustrated with herself IF fear or doubt surfaces and that she is able to rest in God's promise to meet her every need and bring about her healing. (Isaiah 41:10)

It's such a privilege to partner in prayer with everyone for our precious sister and friend. I can't wait to see what God does as He continues to show Himself mighty on her behalf!

Blessings,

Sandy Broome
